As an important cleaning and screening link of the production line, the blockage and damage of the vibrating screen directly affect the screening efficiency and production capacity.
What are the common causes of screen blockage?
1. Material shape:
The physical particle size and the mesh size of the screen are critical. The granular material is easy to get stuck in the mesh and cannot pass smoothly, which is easy to cause blockage; the material shape has multiple contact points with the mesh, causing blockage of the screening point; there are many flake materials in the crushing process, which are easy to accumulate on the screen surface, hindering other materials from being screened and causing blockage.
2. Material properties:
If the moisture content of the material is too high, or it contains sticky substances such as oil, it will cause the material to stick together and easily stick to the screen, affecting the screening of the material and causing blockage.
3. Screen wire diameter:
Practice has shown that when the mesh size is the same, when the mesh diameter increases, the strength of the screen increases, but the effective screening area decreases, which will cause a significant increase in the blockage rate.
How to solve the blockage?
Usually, changing the mesh structure of the screen can effectively prevent and solve the problem of hole blocking:
1. Under the premise of meeting the construction requirements, a certain proportion of rectangular holes are used. At this time, attention should be paid to the direction of the mesh arrangement, which will affect the screening efficiency and service life.
2. Use a diamond hole anti-blocking screen. This screen is made of two adjacent identical screen bars with slight vibrations, which has a better anti-blocking effect.
3. Use a triangular hole anti-blocking screen. The characteristic of this screen is that one of the two adjacent screen bars is a static screen bar and the other is a dynamic screen bar.
What should be paid attention to when using and installing the screen?
In actual use, if the screen is not tightened, the screen grid and the screen body will form a vibration collision, causing some screens to be damaged prematurely. During the installation and use process, regularly check the tension of the screen and reasonably adjust the amplitude and frequency of the vibrating screen.
1. Select the screen: Reasonably select the mesh number of the screen. The mesh number of the screen directly affects the accuracy and production capacity of the screened material.
2. Laying the mesh: The mesh needs to be laid as flat as possible on the mesh frame, and the tensioning force should be appropriate. Excessive force will affect the life and accuracy of the mesh.
3. Tightening: The mesh needs to fit closely with the mesh when tightening, and check whether there is any looseness in time to avoid secondary vibration.
