In response to the national “dual carbon” strategy and the intelligent upgrading needs of the warehousing and logistics industry, CIMC Enric Holdings Co., Ltd. reached a strategic cooperation with Henan Jijian Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. and China Machinery Industry Machinery Engineering Co., Ltd. to jointly promote the construction of CIMC Enric Green Intelligent Warehousing Project. The project focuses on the integration of green buildings and intelligent warehousing technologies, aiming to create a modern warehousing base that integrates environmental protection, high efficiency and automation to meet the regional energy equipment and bulk commodity storage needs.
II. Project Overview
Project Name: CIMC Enric Green Intelligent Warehousing Project
Construction Location: A key industrial park in Henan Province (the specific location is not disclosed, but it belongs to the core area of the Central Plains Economic Zone)
Construction Content:
Green Warehousing Facilities: Build multiple high-standard intelligent storage warehouses, adopt prefabricated building technology, and integrate green technologies such as photovoltaic power generation, rainwater recovery, and ground source heat pumps.
Intelligent Logistics System: Deploy automated three-dimensional shelves, AGV robots, and intelligent sorting systems to achieve unmanned operations throughout the entire process of goods.
Energy management system: Build an energy monitoring platform to optimize equipment energy consumption in real time, with the goal of reducing comprehensive energy consumption by more than 30%.
Information platform: Develop a warehouse management system (WMS), link with Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and support remote monitoring and data traceability.

Henan Machinery Construction and China Machinery Engineering jointly set up a project department to formulate green construction standards and intelligent equipment interface specifications.
Construction phase:
In the second quarter of 2024, infrastructure construction will be started. Henan Machinery Construction will use BIM technology to optimize the construction process and reduce material waste by 15%.
China Machinery Engineering will simultaneously develop an intelligent warehousing software platform and complete joint commissioning and testing with AGV and sorting equipment.
Acceptance plan:
Sub-item acceptance will be carried out in the fourth quarter of 2024, focusing on testing indicators such as photovoltaic power generation efficiency and AGV path planning accuracy.
The overall completion acceptance will be completed in the first half of 2025, and the national green building logo will be applied for.

Photovoltaic panels are laid on the roof of the storage warehouse, with an annual power generation of more than 5 million kWh, meeting 30% of daily electricity demand.

V. Social Benefits
Energy conservation and emission reduction: After the project is completed, carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by about 12,000 tons per year, helping the region to reach its carbon peak target.
Industrial upgrading: Attracting enterprises such as energy equipment and cold chain logistics to settle in, forming a 10 billion-level industrial ecosystem.
Employment promotion: More than 2,000 jobs will be provided during the construction period, and more than 500 long-term jobs will be created during the operation period.
VI. Future Outlook
The second phase of the project is scheduled to start in 2026, which will expand the storage function of hydrogen energy storage and transportation equipment and connect with CIMC Enric’s global supply chain network. Henan Machinery Construction and China Machinery Engineering intend to deepen cooperation, explore the application of new technologies such as storage robots and blockchain evidence storage, and help the Central Plains region build a national green intelligent storage hub.
