Contract details of the shallow silo equipment technical transformation project of Chongqing Dianjiang County Grain Reserve Co., Ltd.
I. Project background
In order to improve the storage efficiency and food security guarantee capacity of the Dianjiang County Grain Reserve, Chongqing Dianjiang County Grain Reserve Co., Ltd. launched the shallow silo equipment technical transformation project. The project focuses on the intelligent upgrade and equipment renewal of old storage facilities, aiming to reduce grain losses and optimize operation processes through technical transformation, and meet the national grain reserve facility modernization standards. Henan Jijian Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. won the bid for the project with its rich experience in the field of grain storage, responsible for equipment procurement, installation and commissioning, and supporting technical services.
II. Project Overview
Project Name: Chongqing Dianjiang County Grain Reserve Co., Ltd. Shallow Silo Equipment Technical Transformation Project
Construction Location: Dianjiang Grain Reserve Co., Ltd., Chongqing Dianjiang County (specifically located at No. 123, Yuwu Road, Guixi Street, Dianjiang County)

Equipment Update:
Dismantle the existing old shallow silo equipment, including conveyors, elevators, gates, etc.
Add 1 intelligent sampler (model: YL-A-VP), 2 environmentally friendly vibrating screens (model: TQLZ2.2×2.4-EP), 2 micro-grain pickers (model: SL), and equip with screens and other accessories.
Intelligent transformation:
Deploy PLC control system, integrate equipment linkage control, fault warning and energy consumption monitoring functions.
Install temperature and humidity sensors and dust concentration monitors to achieve real-time monitoring of environmental parameters.
Supporting projects:
Reconstruct the shallow round warehouse trestle and iron ladders between warehouses, and complete the equipment foundation construction and lightning protection grounding treatment.
Optimize the ventilation system, add axial flow fans and air ducts, and improve the uniformity of air flow in the warehouse.
Contract amount: The specific amount has not been disclosed, but the equipment procurement and installation costs of similar projects are about 5 million to 8 million yuan.
Construction period requirements:
Start on April 1, 2024, complete the arrival and installation of equipment before August 31, 2024, and pass the joint acceptance before September 30, 2024.
3. Cooperation model
Responsibility division:
Henan Machinery Construction: Lead equipment procurement, installation and commissioning, technical training and after-sales service to ensure that equipment performance meets national and industry standards.
Dianjiang Grain Reserve Company: Provide on-site construction conditions, cooperate with equipment foundation construction and power access, and be responsible for project acceptance.
Technical standards:
The equipment implements the “Method for Compilation of Grain and Oil Machinery Product Models” (GB/T 37499) and “Technical Specifications for the Design of Electromechanical Equipment for Grain Warehouses” (LS/T 8005).
The intelligent system has passed the CE certification, supports Modbus TCP/IP protocol, and the data transmission delay is ≤50ms.
4. Project progress
Preliminary preparation:
Complete site investigation and equipment selection in April 2024, confirm the aperture of the vibrating screen and the power parameters of the rice scooper.
Henan Machinery Construction starts equipment production and simultaneously prepares construction organization design and safety emergency plans.
Construction phase:
In May-June 2024, carry out the dismantling of old equipment and foundation construction, and complete the anti-corrosion treatment of the trestle and the reinforcement of the iron ladder.
From July to August 2024, the new equipment will be installed and debugged separately, with a focus on testing the sampling accuracy of the sampler (error ≤ 0.5%) and the impurity removal efficiency of the vibrating screen (≥ 95%).
Acceptance plan:
Complete the system joint debugging and 72-hour trial operation in September 2024 to verify the equipment capacity improvement target (processing capacity ≥ 150t/h).
Pass the special acceptance of the Dianjiang County Development and Reform Commission, Emergency Management Bureau and other departments, and submit the equipment operation manual and maintenance guide.
V. Project highlights
Intelligent upgrade:
The PLC system integrates AI algorithms to achieve equipment fault prediction and adaptive speed regulation, reducing manual intervention.
The upper computer platform supports mobile access, and managers can remotely monitor equipment status and production data.
Safety and environmental protection design:
The vibrating screen is equipped with a pulse dust collector, and the dust emission concentration is ≤ 8mg/m³, which is better than the national environmental protection standard.
The rice scraper adopts a low-noise design, with an operating noise of ≤ 70dB(A) to improve the working environment.
Energy saving and consumption reduction: The sampler adopts a permanent magnet synchronous motor, which reduces energy consumption by 30% and saves about 20,000 kWh of electricity per year. After the ventilation system is optimized, the annual electricity bill for a single warehouse can be saved by more than 10,000 yuan.
VI. Social benefits
Food security guarantee: Improve the storage capacity of the grain reserve warehouse in Dianjiang County and serve the grain and oil supply in the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle.
Industrial upgrading demonstration: As the first intelligent technical transformation project of shallow round silos in Chongqing, it provides technical reference for similar projects.
Safety production improvement: Through equipment updates and intelligent monitoring, eliminate safety hazards of old facilities and reduce accident risks.
VII. Future prospects
The second phase of the project plans to expand to the fields of nitrogen grain storage and low-temperature storage, and realize the intelligent management of the entire process of shallow round silos. Henan Machinery Construction and Dianjiang Grain Reserve Company intend to deepen cooperation, explore the application of new technologies such as blockchain evidence storage and digital twin operation and maintenance, and help Dianjiang County build a benchmark for modern grain and oil reserves in the southwest region.
